Results: Health literacy level assessed by the KHLAT were 50.71 in freshmen, 56.41 in sophomores, and 58.82 in seniors on average (possible range from 0 to 66), which was significantly different among the grades. The items of the lowest understanding were impetigo, smear, herpes, gonorrhea, nerves, flu, and syphilis, answered by less than 70% of the subjects as "knows the accurate meaning.¡±
